Prohibited Items
What Ninja will and won't order or ship, and how to report intellectual-property violations.
Every product on Ninja comes from a third-party seller on an external marketplace — Taobao, 1688, Weidian, Tmall, and others. Ninja doesn't own, stock, list, manufacture, or authenticate any of it. You choose the item and the seller; we place the order and ship it to you as your buying agent. This page covers what we won't order or ship, and how to report a problem.
Everything comes from third-party sellers
Ninja is a buying agent, not a store. We don't run a catalog of our own goods. Every listing, photo, price, description, and authenticity claim belongs to the third-party seller you choose — not to Ninja. Because we don't manufacture or vouch for these products, we can't guarantee a seller's listing is genuine; that relationship is between you and the seller. What we can do is refuse to deal in items that are illegal or that infringe someone's rights, and act when we're told about them.
Intellectual property
We don't facilitate the purchase or shipment of goods that infringe intellectual-property rights. This includes:
- Counterfeit goods — items faked or passed off as a brand they aren't.
- Trademark infringement — unauthorized use of a brand's name, logo, or marks.
- Copyright infringement — pirated or unauthorized copies of protected works.
- Replicas and unauthorized brand-name goods of any kind.
Where this is in our control, we hold the line:
- We don't market or promote them. Ninja isn't built for the replica trade — we don't run replica-oriented search, surface "rep" listings, or steer you toward knock-offs.
- We won't knowingly order one on your behalf. If we recognize an item as counterfeit or infringing, we decline it and refund the item cost to your credit balance.
- We act on reports. When a listing is flagged — by you, by us, or by a rights holder — we remove it from ordering and can block it going forward.
Where it isn't: we don't inspect items for authenticity and can't guarantee a third-party listing is genuine. Our QC photos show an item's condition and accuracy, not whether a brand is authentic. You're responsible for choosing genuine goods; we're responsible for not knowingly dealing in infringing ones and for acting when we learn of them.
Other items we won't order or ship
- Anything illegal to export from China or to import into your country.
- Weapons, weapon parts, and ammunition.
- Controlled substances, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
- Hazardous materials beyond what our carriers allow.
- Counterfeit currency, fraudulent documents, or anything used to commit fraud.
- Anything otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
Items that need special handling
These aren't prohibited, but they ship on specific routes. We flag them and show the supported shipping methods at checkout:
- Items containing batteries
- Liquids, gels, and aerosols
- Cosmetics
- Magnets and powders
Report an infringing item
If you're a brand or rights holder — or you just spot something that shouldn't be here — email [email protected] or use live chat. So we can act quickly, please include:
1. What you're reporting — counterfeit, trademark, copyright, patent, or another prohibited item.
2. Who you are — your name, company, email, and country, and your relationship to the right: the rights owner, or an authorized agent. If you're an agent, confirm you're authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
3. The right you're asserting
- Trademark — the registration number and jurisdiction (e.g. USPTO, EUIPO) and the mark itself. No registration? Give the date of first use in commerce and a link to an example.
- Copyright — a description of the work and proof that you own it.
- Patent — the patent number and jurisdiction.
4. What's infringing — the product link(s) on Ninja or the source marketplace, where the violation appears (product, packaging, images, or listing text), and how it infringes. Screenshots or photos help.
5. Your statements — confirm that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized, that the information you've given is accurate, and that you're the rights owner or authorized to act for them. Sign with your name and the date.
What happens next: we aim to respond promptly. We acknowledge the report, review it in good faith, remove confirmed listings from search and ordering, and can place a standing block on a brand's counterfeits at the rights holder's request.
Our discretion
We reserve the right to refuse any order or shipment at our discretion — including prohibited items, potentially fraudulent orders, or items our shipping lines can't carry. If we refuse an order, the item cost is refunded to your credit balance.
